In their 6th straight year, Edublog Campus and Classroom 2.0 are working to recognize the achievements of edubloggers, twitterers, podcasters, video makers, online communities, wiki hosts, and other web based users of educational technology. Past winners of the Edublogger Awards have included Tony Karrer from eLearning Technology (twice), Karl Fisch for his post Is It OK To Be A Technologically Illiterate Teacher?’, and George Siemens for his post “Connectivism: Learning as Network-Creation“. These along with the many other winners you can see here are fantastic resources and provide amazing insight into the use of social media tools in learning. I hope one day for Learning Putty to be able to join their ranks. Alas, until then I am just happy to be able to contribute my nominations for 2009. Hopefully these resources will be as helpful for you as they have been for me.
